As a parent, I want the best for my kids. I want them to have opportunities to grow academically, relationally and personally. My husband Brad and I have had children in ISD 199 for 8 years and we have seen first hand the importance of quality teachers in our children’s lives. This was more true last year than any other. The pandemic highlighted areas of strength and growth. I’m committed to using my voice to give all students access to quality education by continuing to foster relationships between families and schools.

As a school board member, I will use my voice to influence the creation of a school calendar that honors relationships (Family Connections) and ensuring that our district’s budget includes curriculum that challenges our students at all levels.
